The Kestrel 5500 series can withstand the most crucial environments you can put them in. Hurricanes, Fires, Combat Teams, whatever your mission you can rely on this meter to give you accurate weather information. This meter is drop-proof, dust-proof and waterproof and can track and log over 10,000 sets of time-stamped data. Turn this meter into a complete weather station with the vane mount. Once mounted the large wind vane and precision pivot keeps the meter oriented into the wind for continuous measurement and logging of wind speed, wind direction, and all other key weather parameters. With LINK you can remotely view your data on phones and tablets up to 100' away.
LINK is a simple communication to Windows and Mac computers is provided through the optional LiNK .USB Dongle or USB Data Transfer Cable. Download your data to view, analyze and archive. Enables firmware update of Kestrel 5 series meters. LINK for iOS and Android (coming soon) Wirelessly connect with iOS and Android devices. When in range, view real-time measurements, receive on-screen alerts and download your data. Logged data can be viewed, analyzed, archived and shared via e-mail, Facebook and Twitter.
