Features

  • Self-contained, stand-alone infrared sensor, no remote electronics needed for operation
  • Thermo-electrically cooled detector
  • Total System Health Check diagnostics feature verifies that the temperature detector, internal circuitry and even the output signal are all working within factory specifications
  • Innovative Match Function allows you to input the process temperature (if known) and automatically adjust the emissivity
  • High resolution optics and adjustable focus enable precise targeting; distant objects can be measured using a very small focal area or "spot size"
  • Adjust focus by turning the rear portion of the sensor, which can be locked into position
  • Two built-in, thru-the-lens targeting options are available: visual or laser (optional)
  • Match Function takes the guess work out of setting emissivity
  • Optional Dirty Window Detector (DWD) can sense build-up on the window of the sensor and provide an alarm output to the user
  • Abilities to function both stand alone and networked, with standard I/O signal interfaces (both analog and bidirectional RS-485 digital) enable operation with other systems and devices
  • Sealed, stainless steel NEMA 4 (IP65) enclosure
