Capable of measuring resistance from 0.01 ohms to 20 kΩ, this basic 4-terminal tester is user-friendly with a large selection switch and a large LCD display. Users can perform 2, 3, or 4 pole tests easily with gloved hands, as well as take advantage of the tester's ability to reject noise up to 40 V peak to peak.

Megger DET4TR2 Offers

Rechargeable battery powered and highly reliable, this ground tester automatically checks the connection and conditions of the P spike, C spike, and the level of ground noise, indicating the status on the display. The tester also offers a voltmeter to enable the measurement of ground voltage.

Useful tips of the Megger DET14C and DET24C


If you have a Megger DET Series unit, watching this video will provide you with useful tips that you can use in the field! You'll learn what you can and cannot do with these instruments, giving you a good idea of how intuitive your product is. The DET14C & DET24C can induce a test current into the earth systems and measure ground resistance in multi-ground installations without needing to disconnect the ground.

As these units are capable of many useful features, they cannot measure the earth's resistivity; there's a difference between resistance and resistivity! To complete a resistivity measurement, you'll need a 4 terminal earth tester like the Megger DET4 series - see 00:40.
